... since I really loved the Matrix trilogy.

:awe Matrix ftw :grins
I watched the first two recently. Must get around to watching the third.
Also saw Fifth Element a while ago. Not bad indeed... quite well done. :yepp
Also the Bourne Indentity (first) and Ultimatum (third) again a while back...
I'm also reading The Bourne Identity. Talk about different to the movie :-o

You get that a lot ( film different to book ) and the book is usually better.
Have you watched " Sahara " ? It is a story by Clive Cussler. Well talk about different. The movie is quite good, but the book is heaps better. :-) S'pose when you're reading you can let your imagination go wild.
Right now I'm reading "The Quest" by Wilbur Smith. Book 4 of the Egypt series. Great yarn.
I also watched the 5th element. It is a lot of fun. Especially the part on the cruise ship when he asks those uglies " anyone else who wants to negotiate ?" :rofl The priest was fun too, wasn't he ?
I love the Bourne trilogy, great story and great acting. edge of the seat stuff.
Have you watched the crocodile dundee movies? Really funny.

Yup :-) And the book is usually better.
I have seen Sahara, but haven't read the book. I'll keep an eye out.
Hahaha, that priest was pretty cool. I particularly liked (DJ) Ruby Rhod (Chris Rock). Jeez, he made me laugh [hehe]
Yeah... good old Croc Dundee. My favourite moment: (from the 3rd one)

Spoiler Spoiler

Miss Mathis: Your son says that you're a hunter, and that you hunt and kill crocodiles.
Mick "Crocodile" Dundee: Aw, geez he should know better than that, Crocodiles are protected. I don't kill them, I catch them alive.
Miss Mathis: [amazed] Oh!

:rofl

Watched Serenity this afternoon :awe
... and part of Lemoney Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. :| Messed up movie, lol ;-)

I've watched "The Fog", the remake starring Tom Welling, recently. Actually, I just wanted to see it because of him, so I wasn't that disappointed when I recognised that the movie is just plain boring, sometimes even ridiculous in my opinion.

Yeah, Chris Rock is a real cracker but what about his hairstyle as Ruby Rhod.
This unfortunate event movie was a lot of crap ( excuse my language ). Have you watched " Dreamcatcher" yet ? Really good. :wave2:
I did watch "The Fog " and was very disappointed. The original was heaps better. But if you watch a movie just to see your fave actor then the story doesn't really matter, does it?

Yeah, I'm more willing to forgive a boring movie, then. But my fave actor starring in a good movie would be even better, of course [hehe]
Btw, Tom Welling isn't my fave, I know him from "Smallville" and just wanted to check his other works.

I watched "Kung Fu Panda" today... Quite hilarious. The best thing about it was the ending: "Can we eat now?" - "Yup." [hehe]

Hahahahaha that was cute.
I liked the bit in the end...

Spoiler Spoiler

Shifu: You have brought peace to this valley and... and to me. Thank you, thank you Po. Thank you, thank you. [slowly lays his head back down, assumingly dead]
Po: [in disbelief] No! No no no, don't die, Shifu please!
Shifu: I'm not dying, you idiot! Ah, Dragon Warrior, I am simply at peace.

[hehe]

I found another obscure (but awesome) childhood classic (from my childhood, at least :p ) "Rock-A-Doodle". Good movie and I rememberd more of it than I thought I would. And yet, still a funny movie :weird :P :rofl
Also watched Madagascar :) again

So, who is your favourite actor, then? :poke:
Timothy Olyphant is one of my fave's. He stars in the Hitman movie. Have you seen it? :-)

I LOVE Timothy Olyphant

He's gonna be in The Perfect Getaway with Milla Jovovich (my second favorite actress) who played Leeloo in the Fifth Element. And, he played in Catch and Release with my FAVORITE actress Jennifer Garner, <3.

And he played the evil Mickey Altieri in Scream 2, [hehe] . He was awesome as Agent 47 in Hitman. 47, ironically enough is my favorite number for several reasons, and in the beginning of Hitman, they used footage from the 2000 - 2002 show, Dark Angel. Kind of weird.

You are so right !
Timmy Olyphant and Milla Jovovich. THE perfect match !
I've never seen "catch and release". What kind of movie is it? Did you watch the Resident Evil movies ? I love 'em . Milla is so cool as Alice. And it looks like there might be another one in the R.E. series. Considering how the last one ( Extinction ) ended .
BTW, whatever happened to Alias ? It was one of the really good shows on the telly. I watched a movie in which Michael Vartan stars.
It's called Rogue and is set in northern australia and is about a huge croc. Was alright.. :-)

Catch and Release is a romance with a hint of comedy. I have seen all of the Resident Evil movies (and I own them on DVD), and Apocalypse was my favorite.

Michael Vartan?! I loved him in Monster in Law and the TV show, Alias. He is wicked sex--I mean...cool, ;-) .

Yeah, and I own all of the Resident Evil dvd's too. It's a must-have,, really. My fave was the first one. It had Michelle Rodriguez in it. She is (or was ) on Lost. :-)

I went to see Mamma Mia :-)
And I have to admit it is one of the best Musicals I've seen, not only that Meryl Streep's voice is amazing but I was singing Gimme Gimme Gimme on the bus home, 30 minutes after I'd seen it. I feel sorry for the unlucky sods who were sitting around me lol.

I love Michelle Rodriguez, especially in Fast and the Furious. I heard Mamma Mia was good, but Pierce Brosnan would be the only reason I would watch it.
