TOMB RAIDER...Better on PC, PS1, PS2,or Game Boy?

Do you think Tomb Raider is better when playing it on PC, PS2, or Game Boy. and If there is another system you can play it on... add that on to the list as well...

Gameboy has totally different games so I cannot compare those.

TR1 is best on the PS1 or 2 or with Glidos. TR2 on the PS 1 or 2 and on PC are the same. TR3-5 is best on the PC and AoD is best on the PS2.

Nope, every game is naturally better on PC. You can enhance your graphics! Download fixes and patches!
Nothing you can do on a console.
And I love using my keyboard. [:D]

That's silly. The games I have mentioned have better graphics than the PC Version at it's best.

And consoles don't need patches!!

I originally got them all on PC an haven't played any on the ps/ps2 except AoD, so i'll just say PC
You could also get them on the sega and on mac, but im assuming that's just like the pc(the mac)...

I've played all 5 pluz golds on the PC, but the good thing about ps1 or 2 or any other system is you don't have to worry about if it will work on it.... you know what i'm saying? which is good.

I found the first one ok. The second one is the only one I don't have.

I find the third (which is actally for the GBA) the hardest. I haven't finished that one yet.

The second one was really easy, there's not much to explore and there's only a set route to go. I thought the first was good and it seemed huge, too hard for me! And i've never completed the GBA version, i just use the level codes :P

No, they're just standard. I'm talking add-on patches.

And with the right equipment a PC will have better graphics.
Weren't PC's what created Consoles and games anyway? They're unlimited!

Graphics aren't everything in a game, just because it has better quality graphics on a different format, doesn't mean it is a better game... But if you were that bothered you could mod it with patches...

If the game does not have better graphics (eg TR1) it cannot get better on a new PC. Well yes, you can now use Glidos, but I am talking about back then, and TR1 was better on Playstation then, than on the most expensive PC.

And Angel of Darkness? Well it has soooo many bugs in the PC Version and the only thing that might be better. concerning graphics is the resolution. Shadows and effects were better on the PS2.

What do you mean by add on patches? Are you talking about Tomb Raider Gold (eg. Unfinished Business, Golden Mask, Lost Artefact)??? These are not patches, these are add on levels.

A patchs is something that fixes errors.

And on the consoles there were hardly any errors. I myself have not run into one single bug, and I have played all games (except TR5) on the console. On the other hand I can give you countless bug reports for the PC games. (invisible walls, the savegame bugs in chronicles...)

Lol:ppppp

REASONS WHY PS1,PS2 and others are better then PC:

1. There are no ERRORS is the console systems
2. YOU can sit where ever you like, NOT only on a computer chair.
3. Your hands are free
4. Your body doest get uncomfortable so soon as behind the pc.
5. The consoles take 10 times LESS eletrisity
6. I hate playing on the keyboard since all the bottons are far away from each other.
7. There are no patches and download things on the consoles? SO? Its faw better to play TR with the consoles.
8. PC like The Sims2 are good for computer.
9. TR is a adventure not a "typing" game!
10. A good GAMING PC costs like 1063-1687 EUROS! THAT is expensive and a waist of money if its just for playing.
11. Even when garfic is better on PC ALL the TR games are the SAME!

I prefer playing the games on pc, but i do agree with you workeddream17, i like to be able to talk to people while playing a game, not in an office or at a desk where you cant see others.
