Play Game (This let's you play the actual game)
Play Croft Manor (Lara' manor)
Settings (change the game around)

Let's not forget the difficulty settings!!!

Easy (This means that the game will be easy to play!)

XD

I'm sorry, but really now. Next thing, I suppose you want them to apologize for not explaining what the menu options mean?

*Apology to the Fans from Eidos*

We're sorry we didn't explain what the menu selections mean. We didn't know people with a 2nd grade education would play the game.

------

I'm not mocking you, it's just a joke.

Twitchy twitchy. I understand the menu ( I have in fact played the game, thanks). I just don't understand YOUR boss fight/outfit menu idea... or do I just have a problem understanding half complete rantings? maybe.
Oh, and I thought jokes were supposed to be funny, as in...
Why did the chicken cross the playground? To get to the other slide. Or something to that effect.
Read more carefully before you make snotty replies.

Not all jokes are 'haha' jokes. And you clearly stated that a more in depth explanation on the menus would be better, and I apparently misunderstood what you meant by that.

I was not at all insulting you. As I said, it was a joke, not to be taken offensively and there is no need to get hostile.

And my idea is pretty straight forward. You must be blind as if to not understand it by reading it once.

I stated that it would be nice if the interactive cutscenes and boss fights were in a menu, like a submenu within the replay level selection. Where you can choose any IC or BF and any outfit to use during said IC or BF.

It was pretty clear. And instead of spazzing out about it, why don't you just ask for me to explain the idea? I mean, you didn't even ask.

You wrote:

"The time trials: what is the reasoning behind letting the time run through the 'mini-cutscenes' when the game shows you what's about to happen: like in the Lost Valley when the 'gate' comes down to dam up the waterfall at the end of the level? Come on!

I don't understand the "menu" idea: maybe a more in-depth explanation??

I like the idea of replaying only the interactive cut scenes -fun"

I was I supposed to know that the bolded text that you wrote was directed to me? So either start being clear on who you're directing questions to, or stop arguing about your misappropriated questions.

What I also find annoying is that Lara can only "speed shimmy" (i.e. when you push E or :triangle: while shimmying) in straight lines - i.e. not around corners. This made getting that timed artefact in Obelisk of Khamoon fairly difficult!

I find nothing wrong with TRA, except for the fact that I hate having to replay the whole Sanctuary of the Scion level just to get to the interactive cutscene at the end.

Yip. When you have to duck, pull out Lara's guns instead, and she walks through the overhangs. If you put her guns away half-way through, she crouches. I tried it in St. Francis Folly.

I saw that in Legend, especially after climbing ladders. It's wierd. But in TRA, I found she sometimes crouches after climbing up walls or ladders.

Generally I love TRA, except TRII, it's the best TR so far in my opinion. BUT. I'm playing on PC... Which means that it's a huge pain in the butt trying to control her in rush moments, like fightings or time trials. :hit:

I HATE playing with the mouse. HATE. HATE. HATE. I always use the arrows so it's really frustrating that if you turn left, you have to stop and turn the mouse left as well, otherwise all the controls flip. :hang:
It's also very very annoying when running on a wall and trying to jump back. You have to repeat that twice because you obviously press the wrong direction the first time and she falls and dies (AKA all the controls flip).

And I hate the fact that when fighting a boss and needing to use combat, I have to ask someone to shoot as I jump around since you need to use like 50000000 controls

And it's also annoying when you need to jump really really fast and she just has to grab it with one hand and you press like an idiot W instead of E for an hour until she falls and you have to start over 1000 miles back because you can't save whenever you want. :shout

Other than that?

Great game! :-)

I agree, and the fiddling about with the mouse is a bugger in the Time Trials as you have to line up each jump perfectly or *insert Lara's scream here*.

And for those of use with Lesser Laptops and who have to turn Full Screen Effects off and then the Boss Fights/ adrenaline modes become very diificult (and then you have to turn Hints on, and then forget to turn them off after said fight and then they annoy me hectically :hit:)

I want to be able to save wherever I want, not at those dippy checkpoints...
