Wanted (2008) with Angelina Jolie. Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

I didn't like the fact that

Spoiler Spoiler

her character died
, and it made me cry, but it was a good movie. Very ironic ending, in the good way.

I watched Jumper and found it a bit disappointing. No real storyline and it doesn't explain anything. Like how they become Jumpers.
Then I watched The Mist. And I really liked it. Shocking ending though..

Yes they did, ;-) . They're born with the ability, very few people of course, and they normally don't discover it until they're older when their minds fully develop.

Jumper wasn't bad, imo. Not bad, not brilliant. I agree it was disappointing, although Griffith was pleasantly amusing [hehe]

Watched Kung Fu Panda recently :rofl good clean family fun [hehe] awesome :grins

Last time I saw him, he was sort of hanging around in powerlines.

thanks Catracoth, I must have missed that part.
Has anyone watched 10000 BC? Nice bit of fantasy. If you into that sort of genre and if you liked Conan then you'll love this one.

Not a problem, :-) .

I passed on 10,000 BC. In my opinion, it's the poor man's version of Apocalypto. I mean, the whole pre-civilization setting is rubbish to me. Uninteresting and tasteless is how I would describe it, considering I enjoy living in the 21st century and I like seeing the technology we have today utilized.

My favorite quote of all time: "What's done is done I say. No point in thinking about it now."

I just watched Katt Williams: American Hustle the Movie. I've never seen anything that made me laugh so hard. I almost lost my voice.

I loved apocalypto. They actually spoke in mayan. So I'm told anyway. :whistling:
I've never heard of American hustle : the movie. I am a big fan of comedy. So what is this movie all about.
I watched planes trains and automobiles not long ago, for the 5th time and it still gives me a good laugh. :rofl

It's all stand up comedy with Katt Williams. I think he's the funniest comedian ever. I must warn you though, there's a lot of vulgar language, but it is still funny.

Stand up is cool. Have you heard of Steve Amos ? He is so funny. :rofl So is Billy Connolly . He also stars in the new X-Files movie.

Never heard of them, I'm afraid. I'm not a fan of X-Files, especially considering the fact that the theme song makes me want to run and hide, :whistling: . It really freaks me out.

Equilibrium.
Really nice (and: Christian Bale  ), but I'm still thinking about how they could be able to control all human emotions - and being angry and fighting at the same time... instead of walking around like a zombie all day :whistling:

Aw, come on, the X-Files are cool. And the theme song is recognizable all over the planet. Well that is sort of freaky I must admit.
Is the movie equilibrium a sci-fi flick ? Haven't heard of it before. :-)
Watched the movie " dreamcatcher " and really liked it. Try it.

Yep, sci-fi. Some people even compared it with Matrix because of some cool-looking shoot-outs, I don't agree with that. But as I said, a really nice movie :-)

I really like the X-Files, too, I'm looking forward to the 2nd movie.

I wouldn't say that, especially considering I can name about 40 people who can name another 40 and so on that when you say 'X-Files', they look at you like you have four heads and ask you what it is.

Well, if you are a sci-fi buff then you probably would recognize the X-files theme.
And I am going to get " equilibrium ", since I really loved the Matrix trilogy.
I watched " Rambo " on saturday and I must say I've never seen anything as graphic as that ever before.
But then I had a chat with a vietnam veteran and he said that's what it was like over there.
Bloody gruesome. It all seems so senseless, killing little kids, sad world.
