Above = and go to the second floor. At the side where you can pull down the horizontal bars.
RE: mansion
ok u know in the main hall, there are those poles u can pull down and swing across.. at either end of the hallway there are walls that have turned aroudn with gold things with their tongues out, u have to pull one tongue and then quickly swing across the poles to the other tongue and pull it
(the golden heads with the tongues out are by the door to the hallway that leads to laras bedroom)

Ah yes, I'd actualyl turned those statues a while before, but now I've returned to re-digest it
It reads:
"Within the Hall of Knowledge, Tomes of Cerulean, Topaz, Viridian and Crimson in turn reveal their Arcanum."
Aha! Thats where those books come in.

to open the underwater gate u have to pull the switch under the water! and the other switch is a lion's tounge! the tounge is higher up above the entrance! u have to pull out 2 fish statues and use them to get accross to the platform above the entrance. once u r up there u have to turn the statues so that they face each other! it should be pretty obvious what to do from there

you have to go to the library and push the books in, in the order that they are said in.
cerulean = blue (Pokémon lol)
topaz = yellowish white
viridian = green (Pokémon again... how sad)
crimson = red

Yay, just missing 3 silver now though.
One is defiantely in the pool room on the middle semi-circle balcony.
There is also a shiny ball I pulled down from one of the sides, and a shiny plant/chandeliar in the middle, but I can't seem to grip onto it.

face the statue to the window, go and stand on that circle bit at the bottom of the steps.

does anyone know if it is possible to get outside the mansion???
Push and pull the statue so it faces the sun, then stand on the trigger platform somewhere on the floor.

I don't think so. I think just completeing Bolivia unlocks the Manor, but only contains the 4 rooms and hall - as you see on the map/pda view.
ok done that! it has raised a brownish pillar (square) and when i collected the shield shape thing off the top it lowered into the floor again! where do i go from there?
that would be shame! i wonder if u get all secrets and things if that does it!
Ok, I've got the gold one, I'm just missing 3 silver, which 1 is definately in the Pool room on the middle balcony bit. - ive managed to pull one of the fish statues forward to the edge of the pull using the middle chandalier.
I have the 2 pool gates open, its whether the third at the back of the tunnel can be open or not....
Also I've yet to work out what the shiny ball does, though i managed to pull it offits statue, but no further.
Can anyone get to both top sides of the pool yet?
I can only get to the statue side.

hello silly question but how do u pusht he books????
i have got both sides! the shiney ball sits on a circular button on that balcony! to get there u get up on the side with the statues which face eachother then go to the opposite side of the balcony u got onto it and pull out a spear with ur grabble. then u swing on that and press X to jump and use ur grabble to swing to the next guy with spear! swing and jump once again and u r up
i have no sheilds *pulls face*
